Our tour representative will welcome you at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. After that, we will take you on a 3-hour comfortable drive to Shillong. Before reaching Shillong, we will stop at Umiam Lake, also known as “Barapani”. You can go boating or enjoy the lush green scenery during the stop at Umiam Lake. After reaching Shillong, you will check in at your hotel. During the evening, you can explore the famous Police Bazaar and try local delicacies.

After breakfast, we will take you to Laitlum Canyons, which is located at an elevation of more than 7500 feet. You can enjoy panoramic views of the lush green valleys from here. The next place that you will visit from Laitlum Canyons is the Krang Suri Falls, which is one of the most famous waterfalls in Meghalaya. You will travel back to Shillong after having lunch there. In Shillong, we will take you to the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, followed by Ward’s Lake, where you can go boating. Lastly, you will visit the Cathedral Catholic Church and Lady Hydari Park, where you can enjoy a peaceful setting.

After having breakfast, we will take you to Mawsynram, which receives the highest rainfall in the world. You will explore the caves in Mawsynram that add to the beauty of this place. The next place that you will visit after Mawsynram is Mawphlang Sacred Grove, which is a 1000-year-old sacred forest and has tremendous spiritual significance. It is believed that if you take even a leaf with you from this forest, it invites illness or death. Lastly, you will visit the Khasi Model Village that showcases traditional Khasi tribal life. You will return to Shillong from here.

After enjoying your complimentary breakfast, you will be taken on a scenic 90km drive to Mawlynnong Village, which is Asia’s cleanest village. The cleanliness and maintenance of this village are bound to make you awestruck. In addition, you can witness incredible sights, such as the Living Root Bridge and a boulder balancing on another rock. From here, you will be taken to Dawki, which is near the Indo-Bangladesh border. Dawki is famous for Umngot River, which is renowned for its crystal clear water. You can enjoy boating in the Thai river and take photos. In the evening, we will take you to Cherrapunji, where you will check in at your hotel and stay overnight.
